Welcome!
Have you ever wondered:
Why do people travel abroad in order to have a child? What are reproductive technologies? Why do countries have different legal regulations on technologies, such as IVF, egg cell donation and surrogacy?
In Repro-Stories, you find out more about ongoing scholarship in the area of reproductive technologies. You will also hear the voices from researchers, policy makers as well as affected women and couples who have travelled abroad in their pursuit to have a child (in progress).
To find out more about my PhD project on the German prohibition of egg cell donations, please take a look here.
The PhD project is kindly funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and is conducted under the supervision of Sarah Franklin with the support of the ReproSoc group at the Department of Sociology, University of Cambridge.
